Eligible players must not turn age 10 prior to May 1st, 2011. This will be the first year of Travel Baseball for most of the players on this team. The focus of this team will be to help teach proper fundamentals and develop individual and team baseball skills to U9 players interested in playing at a higher level than CYA House baseball. We plan to conduct tryouts on August 29th, announce our team, and begin practice later that week. The commitment will include most Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons, and some Tuesday evenings. It is our intentions to play approximately 12 games and a season ending tournament in the Old Dominion Baseball League (ODBL) this fall. We will make the effort to stay close to home, but some travel will be required.
