REMINDER! Anyone who practices, plays, or watches a game is responsible for putting trash in the trash cans at any of our baseball fields. All teams are responsible for removing all trash from dugouts. At Chantilly Park all teams are responsible for emptying trash cans into the dumpster.
Effective immediately, each trash can at Chantilly Park will be emptied after every game. Each team will be responsible for leaving an empty trash can for the next team. |

The fall house season is not enforcing the "game of rest" requirement for pitchers who have thrown more than 40 pitches in a game. All other pitcher and pitch count regulations will be followed. See the house rules under Rules & Regs Pitching Rules Summary AA - No pitcher may pitch more than 2 innings AAA - No pitcher may pitch more than 3 innings Majors - No inning limit for pitchers
A pitcher who is removed from the pitching position may not return to the pitcher position for the remainder of the game. One pitch thrown constitues an inning pitched.
The manager must remove the pitcher when said pitcher reaches the limit for his/her age group as noted below, but the pitcher may remain in the game at another position: • League Age 11-12: 85 pitches per day • League Age 9-10: 75 pitches per day • League Age 7-8: 50 pitches per day
Exception: If a pitcher reaches the limit imposed in Regulation VI (c) for his/her league age while facing a batter, the pitcher may continue to pitch until that batter reaches base or is put out. NOTE: A pitcher who delivers one or more pitches in a game cannot play the position of catcher for the remainder of that day.
Pitchers must adhere to the following rest requirements: • 61 or more pitches in a day: three (3) calendar days of rest • 41 - 60 pitches in a day: two (2) calendar days of rest • 21 - 40 pitches in a day: one (1) calendar day of rest • 1-20 pitches in a day: no (0) calendar day of rest
For fall season only, the game of rest requirement for a pitcher who has thrown more than 40 pitches is waived.
Examples: If a pitcher throws 43 picthes on a Saturday, the pitcher is not elligible to pitch again until Tuesday (Sunday & Monday make 2 days of rest). If a pitcher throws 40 pitches on a Wednesday he is elligble to picth again on Friday (Thursday makes one day of rest). If a pitcher throws 61 pitches on a Thursday he is not elligible to pitch again until Monday. Please see House Rules under the Rules and Regs section of the website and refer to the 2008 Official Regulations and Playing Rules for All Divisions of Little League Baseball green book for additional information. |
