As tryouts are coordinated and announced, they will be posted here. 9U Chantilly Chargers The 9U Chantilly Chargers travel baseball program will be holding tryouts for the upcoming Fall season on Sunday, August 29th, from 3 pm to 6 pm at Chantilly Park 2. Eligible players must not turn age 10 prior to May 1st, 2011. This will be the first year of Travel Baseball for most of the players on this team. The focus of this team will be to help teach proper fundamentals and develop individual and team baseball skills to U9 players interested in playing at a higher level than CYA House baseball. We plan to conduct tryouts on August 29th, announce our team, and begin practice later that week. The commitment will include most Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons, and some Tuesday evenings. It is our intentions to play approximately 12 games and a season ending tournament in the Old Dominion Baseball League (ODBL) this fall. We will make the effort to stay close to home, but some travel will be required. If you have questions, please call

|
Fall baseball registration is open through 21 August. After 21 August, $50 late fees will be applied and we cannot guarantee placement on a team. Register now.
A – ages 7-8 AA – ages 9-10 AAA – ages 10-11 Majors ages 11-12
Practices will begin the last week of August, games the second week of September and the season will end by the first week on November.
There are no tryouts for CYA House fall baseball.
Players should be registered for the division they want to play in the spring of 2011. If you wish to have your child play up or down, please note in the registration under “special requests”.
Please note that AA, AAA, and Majors players are drafted onto teams. You can specify a coach preference, but will not be placed on a specific coach’s team – they will need to draft your child.
The focus of fall baseball is developmental. We do not have American and National League teams as we do in the spring. Players are also allowed to play only travel baseball – under “special requests” specify “travel only”.
