The CYA area is generally centered around Route 50 with about half of our members living to its south and the other half to its north.   This road is also known as the Lee-Jackson Memorial Highway, and the John S Mosby Highway just to our west.  John Mosby was a civil war officer who, under the command of JEB Stuart, led his raiders on disruptive attacks against Union troops from Fairfax to Warrenton.  Over time, they became known as Mosby's Raiders, and traveled regularly through the Chantilly area over the course of the war.
