The Challenger division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League Baseball to enable boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide.
The Challenger program provides disabled children an opportunity to participate in America's Pastime, have fun and take part in a sport they would otherwise not have an opportunity to play. Challenger baseball fosters teamwork, self-esteem and social skills and lets kids experience how it feels to be cheered and earn awards for their achievements.
Everyone gets a chance to play, regardless of limitations or ability. Sully Challengers represents both the Chantilly and Southwestern Youth Associations, providing quality baseball for our area youth. The feedback we get from parents and players is very positive and the attitude of the kids is infectious. Our season starts in early April and we would love to have you join us. We play Friday afternoons between 6 pm and 7:30 pm at Chantilly Park on Stringfellow Road (across the street from Chantilly High School).
If you would like more information or would like to register your child to play Challenger Baseball, please contact Sean Fitzsimmons at
